NIFS IAN RIEBELING NEW PRACTITIONERS WORKSHOP

Weekend prior to Symposium

Following on from the outstanding success of the similar workshops at the ANZFSS Symposiums in 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006, the National Institute of Forensic Science (NIFS) is facilitating another workshop for new and aspiring forensic practitioners.

The main thrust of the workshop will be a case scenario in which practitioners from different areas of forensic science/medicine will make presentations regarding the investigations/examinations they would undertake. In addition, there will be presentations on the current status and future directions of forensic science and a mock court which will showcase the presentation of expert evidence.
